[VIS] Re: Memorial Drive upgrade

Another issue is - would the 36ers and Thunderbirds want to move from their current locations? The reason TSA was built in the first place was so basketball didn't have to share a venue with concerts (and the scheduling clashes that come with it). Seems to work well in Perth with their city arena.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide City Council

Really disappointed by this news. Despite the original fears, Martin Haese has been a great mayor for the city.

Mark Hamilton would be a horrible choice.

[U/C] Re: 104-106 Currie Street | 117m | 33lvl | Sofitel Hotel

On another note (and thanks also for the clear photos) it is fascinating to see, how the old buildings of Adelaide evolved when other adjoining buildings are torn down. The old beauty in the background looks like it started as a two story bluestone, and then had another red brick storey added and a...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

In today's Sunday Mail a report on tenders for 400 new buses to replace ageing buses Transport Minister Stefan Knoll stated that plans for trams to North Adelaide had been scrapped. Wait up, wasn't a major policy the Liberals took to the election the establishment of an 'Infrastructure SA' to asses...

Singapore Airlines is planning a “major announcement” at Adelaide Airport tomorrow. Any guesses?

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

I'd like to see some real time info screens placed at all the city and major stops.

Cannot understand why this wasn't included with the new extension. Yet the former Labor Government introduced them at major bus stops.

The promise of the City South tram stop being renewed has been in the budget twice before, and nothing has been done. Hopefully they will actually build it this time around...
That was under Labor though

Cocolat on Rundle St has closed after 12 years. Refurb underway immediately with a banner up quoting The Source about the best roast in Adelaide. Wonder if the space will be combined with the former Iberia next door?
I'm guessing this is due to nearby Max Brenner?

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

One wonders... what if this mess has been some what encouraged by the current state government, dissuade people from any further team extensions? It seems like a silly conspiracy theory, but when you watch two guys take an entire month to tile a single platform, you have to wonder. It's beyond path...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

How f*cking ridiculous.

The previous two extensions were done brilliantly, this one has been an absolute embarrassment.
