[APP] Re: Adelaide Oval Hotel

Haven't been to Perth stadium, but I have been to Marvel, and it's trash compared to AO. I've sat in every stand at AO since the rebuild for either football, soccer, or cricket, and never had an issue seeing all of the playing area from my seat, and I'm talking after they rejigged the cricket membe...

[COM] Re: 27-31 Angas Street | 103m | 30 Levels | Kodo Apartments

A few pics from the Kodo Facebook page. People should be moving in over next few weeks. Should add a fair bit of activity to that part of town. Sorry to say this Ben, but one new building doesn't make any difference to the vibrancy of a street. Love your comments ghs , you shit stirrer. I guess we ...

Except it's not an ugly and badly designed stadium Stop drinking your own bath water Sent from my SM-J730G using Tapatalk Really? I've sat in the South Stand midway from the top on the top tier and couldn't see the boundary line because a guy a couple of rows down from me was blocking the view. Let...

[APP] Re: Adelaide Oval Hotel

I couldn't care too much about this development how it transpired and whether it was going to be built or otherwise. My major worry is if in future they want to redevelop this ugly and badly designed stadium (it's not world class and only good for cricket and AFL...let's be honest about it), it will...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

Adelaide Airport scored second spot on the Australian Airport On Time Performance list measured June 2018 to May 2019. https://i.postimg.cc/FzVd46fy/Australian-Airports-OTP.jpg Not a bad achievement. We ranked 86th in the world. Mackay was 34th. Rockhampton 90th., Cairns 98th., Brisbane 101st., Canb...

Re: SA Economy

I've said it before. But I really do believe if it wasnt for the State Bank collapse and subsequent impact on the State finances and economy, then S.A's population would now be at least 2 million. I recall reading recently the last year S.A had a net interstate migration increase was 1990. If the c...

[...] Equally, seems a shame to lose the wetland and garden on recently established for patient, worker and visitor wellness. I don't want to bring up old arguments but, if you wanted a garden then the nRAH should've been built in stages where it originally was, next to the Botanical Gardens. The b...

^^ And those cranes used on the State Bank were two Favcos! So even taller to the tip. So technically that's in the vicinity of maximum height you can build west of King William. Wouldn't it be nice.

[U/C] Re: GPO Exchange | 85m | 22 Levels | Office

It’s not bad and looks pretty decent in person but again, I lament the missed opportunity of what could have been. I don't see how this is a missed opportunity when it has turned out better than half of the buildings that are going up in Adelaide at the moment. Should it have been taller? Now we aw...

You can read the rest of the report here: https://www.bitre.gov.au/publications/ongoing/files/International_airline_activity_CY2018.pdf Norman , thanks for posting the report year ending 2018. Would be great to have the individual airlines load factors for Adelaide. Even better would be to have the...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

Don't have the load factors in and out of Adelaide. That's something AAL or the individual airlines would be able to supply. Here are the (total) load factors Australia-wide for each airline. Still makes interesting reading. https://i.postimg.cc/d14589C5/International-airline-activity-2019-03-Page-1...

[APP] Re: 64 Currie Street | 92m | 25 Levels | QT Hotel/Office

This development already said it will include a new laneway between Currie and Schrader. I’m sure I also read that they would consider a new laneway through to Leigh Street if the possibility came up. I wonder if that might be explored now with the sad news about Rigoni’s closing? I’m assuming this...

About time we've come back to what this thread is all about, the Adelaide Airport and Airlines. If you guys want to rave on about Globelink etc., do it under another topic.

Cheers

P.S. Good pic rubberman considering.
