Re: News & Discussion: Trams

I predict SA Labor once voted back in will build tramway to Prospect Road (Kilburn). The G10 buses north of city are well used. Replacing g10 bus service with a tram service will free up buses for other areas. I also reckon we will get see a proposal for a Emerson to Tollgate tunnel project

Re: The Federal Politics Thread

Gawler Line electrification needs to be fast tracked, Stephen Marshall should be consulting with Bill and Scott to get some federal funding. Huh? Electrification of the full line to Gawler Central is already under construction. Outer Harbour Line electrification should also be shovel ready for fund...

Re: News & Discussion: Roads & Traffic

Kings Road is terrible. The Parafield crossing needs to be grade separated ASAP. But of course its the usual safe Labor seat issue, which means that it won't be an election issue. The crossing actually is the border of Spence and Makin federally. It needs to be 2 lanes in either direction for the e...

Re: News & Discussion: Roads & Traffic

I would say another area that needs upgrading is Kings Rd from Salisbury highway to Bolivar Rd it will only get worse with Northern connector traffic along with the section from Bolivar Rd to Liberator drive roundabout all this needs to be duplicated/widened and some roundabouts enlarged or replace...

[COM] Re: Armada Arndale (Redevelopment) | $200m

That's interesting, I didn't realise that Westfield changed the name back to Arndale. During the mid 80s it was definitely called Westfield Kilkenny. The reason why I remember that is because my parents used to always still call it Arndale and can remember being a smart ass and always correcting my...

Re: News & Developments: Prospect

Does anybody know what's happening with Coles at Churchill Centre? They have closed the 'Mix' clothing area and downsized the store footprint by about one fifth of what it was so it feels a lot smaller than it did when it opened. Seems like a drastic change for what is the state's newest store so c...

[COM] Re: Westfield Marion (Extension)

The stores they are closing are mainly in Regional centers from what I've read. I used to work at this store many years ago and it was by far the most profitable in the state. They would not close it. I would say the ones in trouble are Brickworks, Golden Grove and Hallett cove. I'd say the rest ar...
