[U/C] Re: SkyCity Adelaide Casino Expansion | 55m | 12 Levels | Hotel

I haven't had a look at the specifics of this but I am interested to see how they integrate both the new and old sites. I was thinking the same thing yesterday. It would be nice to see a large open foyer esque area where the two structures meet, with restaurants or bars with balconies looking down ...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

St Clair is north-north east of Woodville West, and it's practically completed. There was a plan to "swap" the park on Woodville Road adjacent the train station with the new bigger park they've built inside St Clair, to build a Bowden style TOD development, but the local residents bitched and moane...

[U/C] Re: Her Majesty’s Theatre Expansion

As someone who's only been to the Maj a handful of times, I'm having a hard time trying to work out which parts are being demo'd. Could someone highlight a Google Maps image which highlights how much of the building is actually going?

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

Evening all, Emirates are reducing Adelaide to 4x weekly from April 17th 2019- May 29th 2019 . This is due to Runway works in Dubai. No flights on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. There's a lot of flights to a lot of destinations affected. There's a pretty comprehensive list here: https://www.routeson...

Adelaide tram works: SA commuters forced to wait months to use trams to east end SOUTH Australians will be forced to wait until at least July to hop on a tram to Adelaide’s east end. Transport Minister Stephan Knoll said a series of “technical issues” had led to the project missing another deadline...

Re: U/C: Electrification & Upgrade of the Adelaide Rail Network

Just taking a "stab" in the dark, but I dont think the Flinders link train extension can be built until the Darlington Road upgrade has nearly finished..... The "right turn" bridge onto Ayliffes Road is being built and then moved in to position like the two flyovers of South Road over the end of th...

I'd check your data source. Snowtown II is well and truly constructed and has been operational since 2014.

I can't comment about the rest of your data but if there is this flaw, I'd imagine that there may be more.

Re: U/C: Electrification & Upgrade of the Adelaide Rail Network

Preliminary work on relocating services has commenced on Sturt Rd in preparation to extend the rail line to Flinders Medical Centre. The current end of the line is in the back ground. Do we know if this is for the train line and not associated with the road works? I'm pretty sure it's a part of the...

[U/C] Re: News & Discussion: South Road / North-South Corridor

Is this another bridge that will be built down the road a bit, then driven up and put in place one weekend? I think I recall there were going to be two, and only one has been positioned so far. I can't speak for how the Ayliffes Rd bridge will be built but, the second bridge you refer to will also ...

[U/C] Re: News & Discussion: South Road / North-South Corridor

Ok fair points, so maybe they should have made it an underpass instead considering the amount of money they are spending (esp on this intersection). It would have been a relatively modest amount of $$$ to do it. It would then have been non stop starting from the Goodwood Rd & Daws Rd intersection a...
