Re: News & Discussion: Regional Transport

The Overland really must mean something more to regional Victorians than it does to regional South Australians. The Vics are stumping up more money to keep the Overland running. From In Daily The Overland train set to resume when borders open: reports The embattled Overland train service between Ad...

An epic fail from Knoll.

Now he needs to fall on his sword and resign as minister.

Does anyone seriously think The District will actually start development. Apparently they were struggling to attract retailers even before COVID hit.

Re: Target

Heard that Woolworths may take over Target Fulham Gdns when they vacate combined with a Dan Murphys and their BWS goes. Also the former Target at Pasadena is getting a TK Maxx, a fashion & homewares chain, their first outlet in SA. That's quite a downgrade for the site - TK Maxx is a poor mans Best...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses

The ON-DEMAND bus service is from Outer Harbor to Largs Bay only. I am at Glanville it is a bit hard to push a wheelchair up the ramp at the Port Adelaide train station or push over one of the bridges and it cost a bit when you need to go to the Port 3 or 4 times a week. Is it possible to use Adela...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses

What a dog’s breakfast, especially all the route number changes. Changing route numbers to numbers already used in the area, but on a totally different route (half of route 400 being replaced with 411, for example) is going to cause all sorts of confusion.

Looks like Schnitz won't be back for some time. Their Facebook page has advised they'll be closed for the foreseeable future. I find that odd given their product was easily available as take away. I imagine many cafes and restaurants in the new bit will close up without cinema action and dine in op...

New Adelaide Metro website that looks nicer, but is just as useless. https://www.adelaidemetro.com.au My Metro and your MetroCard accounts are not integrated, so you need separate accounts (and I think separate e-mail addresses as well) for both. MetroMATE will also be replaced with 3 third-party su...

Marshall's advantage is the handling of the COVID pandemic. People will remember that for years to come. Such as refusing to offer any assistance to government enterprise workers out of work due to COVID 19 but ineligible for JobKeeper. Yep, I'm sure people will remember things like this. Why do yo...

It feels like they've come on here, cherry picked a few discussion points, and passed them off as strategy - oh and still persist with GlobeLink despite the fact no one wants it.
