I thought they were keeping the Residential Wing (the former Nurses Building at the rear of the site which is sort of shaped like a V)?
I don't think that's ever been marked for retention has it?

Re: The SA Politics Thread

Marshall's infrastructure advisers revealed Premier Steven Marshall has announced the full board of his key infrastructure advisory body. He said today that Infrastructure SA – set up to develop a 20-year state infrastructure strategy and five-year infrastructure plans – would hold its first meetin...

Re: News & Discussion: Laneway & Streetscape Projects

I suspect there is a reason why trees have been proposed for the stretch south of Rundle Mall but not for the stretch to the north. Maintaining access for large vehicles to the canopy thingy maybe (it's 11pm and I can't think of the correct term)...

[APP] Re: [APP] Re: Adelaide Oval Hotel

The parklands that circle Adelaide CBD are almost entirely maintained and actively used. Not anywhere near as much as they could be/should be. I used to work on Greenhill Road - in two different locations at two different ends. The southern parklands along this stretch are almost entirely devoid of...

[APP] Re: Adelaide Oval Hotel

Do people really think the redevelopment of Adelaide Oval finished with eastern and southern stands being rebuilt? :secret: No, absolutely not. Eventually I'd love to see them get rid of the hill, put the scoreboard in a museum and finish the job off properly by closing in the stadium from all side...

[CAN] Re: 124-126 Franklin Street | 86m | 26 Lvls | Apartments

Has anyone else has noticed an uptick in people returning to Adelaide? Anecdotally yes - a few friends from Melbourne have (individually) decided to move back recently, and a couple more are talking about it. Is that part of an overall trend, or is it just a confirmation that people return to Adela...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses

DPTI can't use ticket validation to identify journey endpoints as we don't swipe to get off the bus/train. No, but wouldn't the transfer from an east-west service onto a northbound service once the CBD has been reached be a fairly good indicator? Especially for east-west services arriving in Grenfe...

Re: News & Discussion: Laneway & Streetscape Projects

A snippet from the end of an article re the last tram extension about the proposed revamp of North Terrace between King William Road and Gawler Place and between Frome Street and East Terrace. This explains why many areas have not yet been reinstated fully - with temporary bitumen patches laid. It w...

Apparently Soonta will be moving their St James Place store to RMP. I thought it was a good fit for that strip but hopefully it'll do well in its new location.

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

Any word yet on what food outlets we might be seeing in here? I suspect it'll just be eateries to service the offices above and a few of the walkers by... The only one I've heard of so far is Soonta. There was talk they were trying to open before Christmas, despite the rest of the food court openin...
