I can understand not going with grass, you need to keep it alive and then cut it.

A nicer replacement would have been nice.
Exactly. There are a multitude of clumping, native grasses which would require very little water once established.

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

Don’t forget that Adelaide drivers are apparently unable to understand more than one speed limit on a single road (see: Hutt Street 40km/h fiasco).

Perhaps it will stay 60 until the Pym-Regency stretch is completed.

And apparently Sandy Wilkinson's gone :D :D :D
Just beaten by Franz Knoll (Stephen's father) in the final preferences.
Knoll seems fairly progressive compared to Wilkinson: https://franzknoll.com.au/policies/all-policies

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

I was pretty disappointed with the men's offering - it's a very condensed range. I'm at a loss as to why they didn't take advantage of the second floor of RMP, or take up the basement space where the newsagency, and EB Games are now (although I guess both are always an option for the future). That a...

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

It's fine now - no queues to get in, all doors are open, cash register queues are short. Fitting room queues are loooong - better just to buy and return later.

Yep - the old girl's scrubbed up pretty well.

They're going all out on trying to get it as finished as possible for tomorrow. It's like one of those TV shows where they have to renovate a house in 24 hours. People everywhere...

Re. T2T landscaping, they’ve just installed pop-up sprinklers along the southbound surface road off ramp, I think we should wait and see the final product. Thanks Bacon, interesting to know. Where abouts exactly? The trouble with waiting to see the finished product is that once it's done it's done ...

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

Apparently T2T/DPTI are in discussions with the City of Charles Sturt about reducing the quality of landscaping which will be carried out around the T2T project area (i.e. not delivering what countless renders and animations have shown). There have a been segments on ABC 891 over the last couple of ...
