Post from the EPA on LinkedIn suggests that remediation of the site will be complete by November 2021, with construction of the building to follow.
Remediation of what though? I'm interested to know :?:

To add, the 80's saw a bit of a building boom. The 100m+ building with the stepped roof on Grenfell is one of my faves. A highlight on our skyline IMO.

I do agree with above comments, Dwell is hands down the worst building built in our CBD in the past 20 years. I don't think this student accom building could even come close to being as bad. Hope I'm not proven wrong. Why 20 years? If you're just going for a number, fair play, but wondering if you ...

I'm sorry, but I didn't realise that Glenelg was no longer a metropolitan suburb? I'm not sure why it's so frowned upon by members of this forum that locals feel so inclined to oppose a development that not only (as stated) would destroy some stunningly grand 19th-century mansions but also just con...

[U/C] Re: 203 North Terrace | 119m | 35 levels | Student Accom

There are plenty of examples of glass on north terrace. Granted it’s closer to west terrace. I feel this may crap but blend in. Better than Dwell. To get a striking sandstone design that’s tall I could imagine would be expansive. Ornate and gothic aren’t in vogue either and would cost quite a bit. ...

Everyone would have been frothing 5 years ago. Relax Sent from my SM-A217F using Tapatalk Yep, exactly. A few levels in and peeps getting all in a tizz! At least the developers are trying, for better or worse, to keep within the North Terrace memo... sandstone colour, without much glass. A case of ...

I walked past this site the other day and a small transportable building was getting built. Kinda looked like it could end up being a sales office 🤔

[SWP] Re: Lot 14 (Old RAH Site)

I wish it had more of a feeling of being situated within the parks and gardens. I hear what you're saying, and my idea is prolly a partial solution to this.... Pretty much every building on North Terrace is parallel to the road, so could we turn this one and have a corner pointing the road instead?...

Ahhhh, thanks peeps for mentioning City Central and Lot 14. Now i'm not doubting they are great develpments, but one has the backing of the National Space Agency and the other has the Australian Taxation Office and the Attorney General's office as their major tenants. You are dismissing Adelaide de...

Re: SA Economy

The latest CommSec State of the States quarterly report has been released. South Australia has moved up into equal third position with Victoria, our highest ranking for about a decade. Of course, these are not normal times and it's a case of which state has performed least worst during Covid and all...

How about we "collate" a private enterprise precinct first, one that's not reliant on public money and earning an income from actually making stuff that we can on-sell.

I think Jay spent his last few days in office walking around with his "approved" stamp. Oh hang on, we've been Liberal for a few years now. In that case, I love it 😍

I think the headline for above article should've been...... "Centrelink moves into Adelaide's most expensive office building" In all seriousness, this project is good news for the city and the broader SA economy. I just hope that at a measly 15 levels it ends up as handsome as in the renders.
