Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

I doubt there would be an interest in a Hawaii stopover. You might as well stop over in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Auckland for pretty much the same thing.

[COM] Re: Oaklands Crossing | $174m

Is the "new advertising board" for advertising, or driver information? Sorry I’m not up with the latest news on Regency to Pym, but is this section now fully-funded in the forward budget estimates? Ie proper site works will start after demo work and service relocations?
Yep, fully funded now, with the project due for completion in 2022.

It looks way too much like the thin building on Bank Street... Which is bad.

Update of the drive through . Last night the whole building was lit up. Perhaps the opening is not to far off. Click on picture for bigger.
I believe the move is happening in December or January.

It seems silly to me that Qatar and Emirates fly at almost the same time to almost the same destination. One of them should move to a daytime flight.
They have a similar schedule to allow them to connect to their other flights to their European destinations.

The labour costs and costs of construction are far greater here than in other countries....

The amount of freight the airport takes is minimal, hardly enough to justify a tunnel. Freight is much more likely to go to Outer Harbour.
