[PRO] Re: [PRO] Re: [PRO] Re: 10 Anzac Highway | Kaufland Supermarket

Does anyone know if they've started construction on Kaufland or even demolished the old Le Cornu building yet? Nothing has changed on the outside yet. Bump! Application has received SCAP approval last April; has anyone passed by the site and noticed any construction? Who's the builder? You can see ...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

Ho Really, what's with all of your going against the grain of late? Time has been saved by the implementation of the O-Bahn tunnel, whether they needed to spend that much to make that happen is another story but there is no denying it has saved travel time for buses. Patrick_27 , since day one I've...

You do have to wonder who is running the maintinance department at DPTI... Or who has input into the approval of trees and plantings across major infrastructure projects.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses

I don't think Adelaide Metro/DPTI/SAPTA have the budget, skill or creativity to come up with something more interesting than what we have. When the government decides to value public transport, marketing and design more highly, maybe then they can hire some professionals to give public transport the...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses

Today's announcement of the production of an electric bus is just a re-announcement of the project by the same company in 2017 ? see https://www.businessinsider.com.au/south-australia-just-built-the-nations-first-electric-bus-2017-6. As for the continual need for different colour schemes -this is j...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

I completely disagree with the comment that the tram extension and especially the O-Bahn tunnel were wasteful spending. The tram line may have been poorly managed in some aspects, but it provides much better access to the eastern side of Adelaide. I know this because I use it on at least a weekly ba...

This building looks as bland as the renders, I'm not sure why people are surprised by the outcome. And the plants are growing slowly, but still much faster than the ones in Topham Mall.

I wonder if successive governments will pass this through and get it done or if it will be done in a piecemeal approach. I guess it will depend on how well the business case will stack up.

Re: News & Discussion : New Restaurants, Bars & Night Clubs

Subway on Rundle Street closes today after 20 years of trading, the lease was not renewed. St Louis Ice Cream and Desserts also seems to have closed on Rundle Street. All the tables were stacked in corner last night after walking past. Another Subway bites the bullet! It's literally going the way o...
