Re: Beer Garden

All countries are acting in their self interest when it comes to protective equipment. The US diverted masks destined for Germany and France when they were being transferred between planes in Thailand. So really, no-one can be trusted. https://nypost.com/2020/04/04/us-accused-of-piracy-as-mask-shipm...

I'll be very interested to see future studies on how high density living environments have impacted the spread of the corona virus. It could make a big impact on how new houses and developments are designed in the future.

The site is for sale, so it's still a possibility. But I'm not getting my hopes up, especially during these crazy times.

An empty concrete building would just become a magnet for vandalism and graffiti.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses

The new Flinders Link service would have to be every 15 minutes from 700am to 700 pm weekdays otherwise passengers from Aberfoyle Park and Flagstaff Hill won't use the new service? I really don't it will be every 15 minutes outside of peak. It will most likely be every 30 minutes. 20 minutes at most.

Yet again I have had to clean up this thread. While I and the rest of the moderators would like this to be an open forum for many views and opinions, this is not a place to post about the latest controversy you have seen on the web or what's in the dark web or what the latest conspiracy theory is. Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses

Port Adeliade-Largs-North Haven-Outer Harbour will also have an On-Demand Service. Thats not surprising that on-demand bus services are increasing in Adelaide. Given large amounts of the Adelaide metropolitan area is really low density I think we will see more in the future. And I have a question f...

This is a contract by the airport for on-ground transport, not the state government contracting buses to the airport. Completely different things.

First decent crash on the NC, just south of Bolivar interchange, northbound. 20+min delays and no way of turning around or devouring. No Google maps traffic or VMS yet either
Maybe they should put the speed limit back to 80km/h ;)

That very last paragraph is important:
Santos confirmed some positions now based in Adelaide will move to Brisbane and others will move from Perth and Brisbane to Adelaide, but says there will be no reduction in the company’s net jobs in South Australia.
