[PRO] Re: Port Adelaide Dock Spur Line

The Woodville-Grange branch line will be the next likely target as not viable from some inside the Liberal party. There will try on an argument that buses do the job and the $$$ required to keep this branch line open are too high. I wonder how many Liberal donors and party executives are members of...

There was some kind of unexpected error with my OzLotto ticket because there's no winner showing, so my purchase of the other Realm penthouse will need to wait another week

[PRO] Re: Port Adelaide Dock Spur Line

Progressing through these has identified potential opportunities to further improve public transport services and connectivity for Port Adelaide and more broadly, the north western suburbs. And you can bet your bottom dollar that these 'improvements' will involve a shitty bus service. A shitty bus ...

Possibly they think that prams have wheels, so should use the cycle lane?
It's more that they have prams, so think that they have right of way over all other people at all other times under all other circumstances, and boy will they tell you about it if you think otherwise.

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

It really feels like this is getting no further along. It's just announcements and re-annoucements of funding and planning. I guess I'm naïve about DPTI's processes, but with all the studies so far, I'm surprised we need yet another to decide an option. Do they need to update assumptions, go furthe...

Council concern over rates-free hotel at Lot Fourteen A plan to build a new 250-room hotel at Lot Fourteen has left the Adelaide City Council questioning whether commercial businesses located on the site should be exempt from paying council rates. https://indaily.com.au/news/2019/06/12/council-conc...

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport Service & Policy

The ticket cost is already less than the cost of driving to the city and parking instead of at the local railway station. Surely people who are commuting to the city centre use public transport now and reducing the ticket price will not make much difference to those people. It's barely cheaper. Plu...

I noticed this morning that both Realm and Crowne Plaza will also be prominent and visible from Grenfell Street as well. I hadn't realised how many positions Realm would be visible from. With both of these on either side, it also goes a fair way to mitigating the blot that is Dwell. Neither of them...
