They're changing the lines on the road from white to yellow now
Yellow seems to show up quite well in bright sunshine, and doesn't look "patched" like the white-on-black area does.

One issue that I don't believe has been adequately addressed is, how quick you clear the traffic from the exit ramp. Under the proposed design, traffic travelling from the north to the city will exit the tunnel north of Henley Beach Road. That traffic has to merge with the traffic travelling south ...

Eynesbury Senior College (yr 10, 11, 12) announced it is shutting it's doors in December 2021 due to lack of international students being sent their way by the co-located regular Eynesbury College (Australian uni prep school for international students). Although the regular one says it is not closi...

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

so you're saying that someone travelling south and entering the motorway at tonsley shouldn't exit at Darlington where macdonalds is because they are trying to avoid 5 sets of traffic lights?? so there should be a minimum distance traveled on it otherwise it shouldn't be used?? I had no idea that t...

Someone who wants to travel from eastern Munno Para/Blakeview/Craigmore/Elizabeth Downs has to change buses at the Munno Para Shopping City or Smithfield railway station to get to western Munno Para/Munno Para West/Smithfield Plains/Andrews Farm/Davoren Park. Two things spring to mind here: 1. Thes...

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport Contracts, Service & Policy

I read on the Melbourne Transit blog that the SA bus reforms would have increased the number of people living close to Go Zones from 500,000 to 700,000......how is that bad... Also the bus numbering system would be much simpler and clearer......how is that bad..... Yes there were cuts to services o...

- Encouraging the design to cater for freight movement and not commuter traffic; bit late for that. 90% of the traffic on the southern expressway end are normal cars commuting and I would say that thousands of commuters also use the northern end. freight movement isn't just restricted to the middle...

Hopefully they use this new motorway for buses too. Buses from around Happy Valley could be express into the city. Do we know anything about public transport that will use the motorway? I'd imagine it's way too early to be planning bus route changes. Route GA1 now uses the Northern Connector though...

Also it looks like they will cut my beloved Keswick Creek in half. What will happen to it? Will they pump it under the motorway? Keswick Creek could be incorporated into the James Congdon Bridge. As part of the T2T the Port Road bridge had very large pipes under it. There are also apparently large ...

Absolutely agree - have all car park access from Pulteney Street on a two way access road that would extend no further than the Wilson car park entry and make the remaining portions beween Wilson and Frome and West Terrace single lane and ideally shared-space as opposed to a dedicated vehicle lane....

I wonder if there is a way of reducing the Ads. I find it frustrating too especially when they are in the middle of a single post. I'd be happy to donate towards a more user friendly interface. I find the full-screen ones that need an extra click the most annoying. Hence, I use an ad-blocker on my ...

Has it been announced whether the tunnels will go below the River Torrens, Keswick Creek and Brownhill Creek? They are all in the second stage north of Anzac Highway. Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

When the Gawler railway line was closed, it was going to reopen in stages, but now is completely closed until it is all finished. That is not going to be popular, and Labor can legitimately argue the full closure was a Liberal decision - because Labor was only going to electrify the southern bit! Th...

According to the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) service relocations for the remaining T2D section will start by the end of the year. The contract for those works will be of a similar cost to the whole of the recently opened R2P project. That's an impressive cost when you consider...
